Parkside Market: A Retro Culinary Escape in Downtown Disney
Nestled in the vibrant Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, Parkside Market stands as a testament to contemporary design and culinary diversity. This two-story food hall brings together a curated selection of eateries, each offering unique flavors and experiences. Plus a much needed respite from Disney’s hustle and bustle.

Mid-Century Modern Charm Meets Retro Flair
Upon entering, guests are greeted by a visually striking interior that seamlessly blends mid-century modern aesthetics with retro elements. The space boasts clean lines, vibrant color palettes, and iconic design features reminiscent of Palm Springs’ golden era. The open-concept layout ensures a spacious and inviting atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot for both casual dining and leisurely gatherings.

Prime Location with Monorail Views
Strategically situated right next door to the Downtown Disney Monorail station, Parkside Market offers unparalleled convenience for park-goers and visitors. Its proximity allows for easy access, making it an ideal stop before or after a day at the parks. The upper-level Vista Parkside Market provides elevated views of the Monorail station, adding a dynamic backdrop to your dining experience.

Signature Cocktails & The Viral Flamingo Glass Frosé
No visit to Parkside Market is complete without indulging in their signature cocktails at Vista Parkside Market. The standout offering is the “Flamboyance Frosé,” a frozen rosé wine served in a whimsical flamingo-shaped glass.
This Instagram-worthy drink has quickly become a fan favorite, combining refreshing flavors with playful presentation. Other notable cocktails include the “Vista Point,” “Flashy Plumage,” and the bourbon-infused “Morning Mist.” Each one is crafted with precision and flair.

Rooftop Patio with Fireworks Views
The second-floor Vista Parkside Market isn’t just about drinks; it’s also about ambiance. The al fresco rooftop patio offers sweeping views of Downtown Disney. And, on select nights, a front-row seat to Disneyland’s spectacular fireworks display. Whether you’re sipping a cocktail or enjoying a meal, the setting provides a magical backdrop that enhances the overall experience.

Diverse Culinary Offerings
Parkside Market Downtown Disney houses four distinct food stations, each bringing its own flair to the table:
Sip & Sonder
Sip & Sonder, from founders Amanda-Jane Thomas and Shanita Nicholas, is a Black women-owned brand. It has been recognized as one of the best cafés in LA by the Los Angeles Times. Enjoy Sip & Sonder’s signature lattes, as well as fresh treats and frozen drinks.

Their cookies & cream cinnamon roll is a must-try. Between 7am and 11am stop by for breakfast sandwiches, including a vegan sausage option. We loved the iced chai as well as lavender tea latte. For something pretty try The Monarch aka Butterfly Pea Flower Coconut Vanilla Slushie!

Seoul Sister
Seoul Sister is a fast-casual modern eatery that serves a Korean-forward menu based on bibimbap (Korean rice bowls) with a California twist. Executive Chef Kelly Kim showcases bold Korean flavors through marinated meats, colorful vegetables and savory sauces over rice, noodles or salad, plus appetizers, and hand-crafted drinks.

Choose from a variety of bases, including rice, Japchae noodles, or salad. Top it with options like bulgogi beef, tofu, or crispy pork belly. There are also Asian-inspired kids’ mini bowls.

GG’s Chicken Shop
Serving up crispy fried chicken sandwiches and classic sides, this spot is perfect for comfort food enthusiasts. GG’s Chicken Shop, from Boka Restaurant Group, was founded by James Beard Award-winning restaurateurs Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm, alongside Michelin Star Chef Partner Lee Wolen.

Affectionately named after Wolen’s mother Geri, the shop serves a family-friendly menu of chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic dinner table sides. The first brick-and-mortar GG’s Chicken Shop opened in Chicago in 2023. This new location in Downtown Disney District is its first on the West Coast.

Vista Parkside Market
The second story is an al fresco spot offering great views to sip signature craft cocktails and mocktails. Skilled mixologists infuse, muddle, stir, shake and swizzle the freshest mixes using local ingredients and artful garnishes. Beyond its role as a rooftop bar, Vista offers a selection of shareable plates and snacks. The patio is also one of the best spots in Downtown Disney to enjoy the evening firework display.

Refreshing drinks selection includes frozen lemonades, frozés, espresso martinis, shareable cocktails and spirit-free elixirs. Do not miss the instagrammable frozen rose served in a flamingo glass! Yes, you can buy the souvenir bird glass to take home.
We were also impressed by the well curated list of wines by the glass. Including no fewer than five types of zero proof wines!
